Scholar-Practitioner of Human Judgement
Helping people think, decide and communicate better in the age of AI
Helping people think, decide and communicate better in the age of AI
The most important decisions we make—whether as leaders, professionals, educators, or individuals—are rarely determined by information alone.
They are shaped by judgement.
In an era where artificial intelligence is transforming how we work and communicate, human judgement remains our greatest competitive advantage. My work bridges academic research with real-world practice to help organisations and individuals make better decisions, communicate with greater impact, and lead with confidence.
I believe the best ideas are those that work beyond the classroom.
Over the past three decades, I have built businesses, advised clients, taught in higher education, conducted doctoral research, trained professionals, spoken at conferences, and worked in front of television cameras. Each experience has shaped my understanding of how people think, make decisions, build trust, and communicate effectively.
Rather than viewing these as separate careers, I see them as different expressions of the same purpose: helping people navigate complexity with greater clarity and confidence.
Thought-provoking keynotes that connect research, business experience, and practical insights to inspire better thinking and more confident decision-making.
Evidence-based learning experiences that strengthen leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, sales, and the practical application of artificial intelligence.
Research, adjunct faculty, guest lectures, and academic collaboration focused on translating theory into meaningful practice.

Artificial intelligence can process information faster than any human.
It can summarise reports, generate ideas, analyse data, and automate routine tasks.
Yet the decisions that matter most still require human judgement.
Judgement helps us evaluate context, navigate uncertainty, understand people, exercise ethics, and communicate with empathy. It is the quality that enables leaders to make sound decisions, educators to inspire learning, advisers to earn trust, and organisations to adapt in a rapidly changing world.
My work explores how research, experience, and technology can complement one another—ensuring that AI enhances rather than replaces human capability.
My work is built upon three complementary foundations.
Doctoral research and higher education provide the discipline to ask better questions and evaluate evidence critically.
More than three decades of experience in entrepreneurship, financial services, leadership, and organisational development ensure that ideas remain practical and relevant.
Whether speaking on stage, teaching in the classroom, facilitating workshops, or performing on screen, I believe that ideas only create value when they are understood and acted upon.

"Technology will continue to evolve, but the qualities that define exceptional leaders, educators, and professionals remain remarkably constant: curiosity, integrity, empathy, critical thinking, and sound judgement.
My work is dedicated to developing those qualities in people and organisations."
